Russell Westbrook played his 1,339th NBA game on Wednesday and what may have been another night at the office in a Denver Nuggets win for the former MVP; for one Korean fan, it was unforgettable.
The Nuggets broadcast spotted a South Korean fan who had traveled over 6,000 miles to see Westbrook for a fourth time. With a message saying he will always support the 36-year-old. He said he loves the point guard because of his ability to get triple-doubles when he was playing for Oklahoma City.

After Westbrook’s team-high 25 points against the Sacramento Kings, he promised the fan another one of his jerseys. He ran over into the crowd and handed the man the jersey off of his back, to join the dozen other uniforms he had laid out on some chairs.
“Best moment of my life,” the man said over a hot microphone as Westbrook signed the uniform.

“I’m extremely blessed and grateful for the love of my fans because they see basketball as something that brings them happiness and brings them confidence,” Russell Westbrook said after the game of the fan. “I think I’m in this game to help inspire people.”
The fan apparently is a pretty big streamer in Korea and went live on YouTube after the game, showing off his new uniform.
