The NFL released its list of the top-10 Broncos plays from the 2024 season on Monday, and it’s a fun exercise to relive the best moments of a great season.
Denver went 10-7 and largely overachieved, especially with rookie QB Bo Nix way outperforming expectations. Nix threw for 29 touchdowns which was sixth in the league.
The Broncos defense also thrived for the majority of the year, despite falling off late, and had several key moments including a handful of touchdowns.
Here’s the video the league put together, and you’ll remember each one of these plays if you watched every Denver game.

From the Cody Barton touchdown in New Orleans, to Nix to Marvin Mims Jr. against Cleveland, that was a fun 2:44 watch. The Nik Bonitto pick-six against the Browns, Pat Surtain II against the Raiders, and Nix to Mims twice in Cincinnati were also great highlights.
Perhaps the only thing missing is the Bonitto touchdown against the Colts? That play was special and helped the Broncos eventually clinch their first playoff berth since 2015.
And let’s be honest, the NFL puts out these videos every year, but it’s hard to get real excited about the best plays from a 5-12 team. This is a season we’ll actually look back fondly on, especially if head coach Sean Payton, Nix and the rest of the Broncos continue to ascend and eventually get back to a Super Bowl level team.
For now, the offseason is basically here with the NFL Combine in the past and free agency opening next week. How Denver continues to build its roster will be fascinating to watch and 2025 will surely deliver more memorable plays.
