Shedeur Sanders will not be on display when quarterbacks throw at the NFL Scouting Combine on March 1.
The former CU Buffaloes quarterback will wait until Pro Day to show off his arm, and will instead focus on the interviews, meetings and other doings of the Combine.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news.
#Colorado QB and potential top pick Shedeur Sanders plans to focus on his interviews with teams at the NFL Scouting Combine, helping them continue to learn him as a person.

The advantage of throwing at Pro Day is being able to work with receivers with whom he already has familiarity. LaJohntay Wester, Jimmy Horn Jr., Travis Hunter and Will Sheppard are all expected to be on hand for the Pro Day. Of course, Wester, Horn and Hunter are also at the Combine; only Sheppard is absent.
Sanders already began the process of meeting with representatives of teams at the East-West Shrine Bowl last month.
He bypassed on-field work there, too, even though Horn, Sheppard and Wester were on hand and taking part in the practices.
“It was definitely tough not being out there, but I came here for a purpose, for a reason, to meet with the team so they can understand me and get to know me,” Sanders said at the time.
